SMCHEAP (HAZITEK)

TEAM GROUP Engineering participates in the project SHMCHEAP (Nº ZL-2025/00546) HAZITEK program, selected by the Basque Government, SPRI and FEDER; with a total annual Budget of € 277.000 (€ 450.000 for TEAM GROUP Engineering).

The main objective of SHMCHEAP is to develop a digital platform that integrates various sources of real-time data (low cost MEMS accelerometers), which, through intelligent algorithms and the use of artificial intelligence, enables continuous monitoring to analyse the stability and safety of structures, including both major infrastructure projects and buildings, with these objectives:

Development of Edge parallel processing technology for MEMS accelerometers.
Development of an structural anomaly detection algorithm based on MEMS accelerometry.
Algorithm for prioritising structures according to their criticality and the potential impact of a failure.
Development and implementation of the SHMCHEAP digital platform, which integrates all the proposed modules in a single location.
Develop a digitised and geolocated inventory of structures, historical record of inspections, previous incidents and corrective actions.
