BASQUE Y HIGH-SPEED LINE

TEAM GROUP engineering, together with Ayesa, has started work on the contract to prepare the construction design for complementary works on the railway infrastructure of the High-Speed Line (HSL) Vitoria–Bilbao–San Sebastián for ADIF – Alta Velocidad.

We have been involved in the Basque Country HSL since 2006, providing technical assistance and design office support for the preparation of projects, the design and optimization of tunnels, monitoring and control of emergency exits, definition of surplus material disposal sites, among other tasks.

For this reason, we are proud to support the progress of the Vitoria–Bilbao–San Sebastián HSL through technical assistance and consultancy services. Our scope covers desk-based reviews, on-site inspections, and the definition of improvement measures for the existing railway platform, as well as the preparation of the construction design for the complementary works required before entering service.

The assignment also includes compliance assessment against the applicable Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSIs): Infrastructure (EU 1299/2014), Safety in Railway Tunnels (EU 1303/2014) and Accessibility for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM) (EU 1300/2014), including subsequent updates and revisions.
